Project 26 | Post 14 | Summer Nights / by Carey

This was the theme I was most excited about when I surveyed the grand theme list back in January:  Summer Nights.  We make full use of Summer Nights here in our family.  So many choices to photograph.  Initially I'd planned to do a lightning bug catching evening.  We have plenty of those these days - though I was concerned since I'm so limited with ISO on my D90. I may not have enough light left in our backyard by the time the lightning bugs begin their flashing.  But suddenly, Shawn and Little Buddy were having a water squirt bottle fight and I was shooting and it became my perfect Summer Night documentation.  I only wish I could capture the sound of Little Buddy's cackles throughout this entire escapade.

Please take a moment to go to my lovely friend Gail Pomare and see her interpretation of Summer Nights.  She's the bomb diggity and I can't wait to see what she's sharing.

Don't forget to keep going to check out photographer Gail Pomare and her view of Summer Nights.  She never, EVER, disappoints.
